Peter Graystone is an experienced energy transition corporate lawyer who advises on established and on pioneering transition projects.

Peter's practice includes UK and international M&A, equity investment/fund raising, joint ventures, and reorganizations in the energy transition and decarbonization sector. His experience spans a broad array of clean energy technologies, including solar, wind (onshore and offshore), battery storage, biomass, and waste to energy, as well as e-mobility and circular economy. He acts across the full project life cycle for project developers, operators, private and public funds (including pension funds), lenders, and power utilities.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Peter advised Circtec Limited on its €75 million Series A equity fundraising to fund the construction of its pioneering tyre pyrolysis plant in the Netherlands for the production of sustainable drop-in fuels and circular chemicals. He also recently advised Connected Kerb Limited in connection with its £55 million fundraising from National Wealth Fund to fund its EV infrastructure rollout activities in the United Kingdom (together with an additional £10 million from its existing investor, Aviva Investors). In addition, he worked on matters for Gresham House Energy Storage Fund (expanding and developing its battery storage portfolio), Investment Management Corporation of Ontario (establishing its UK battery storage platform, Pulse Clean Energy Limited), Glennmont Partners (now Nuveen Infrastructure) (on its biomass project disposals), and developers and funders of various solar projects and portfolios based in the United Kingdom.
