Emma Rakotobe's practice is focused on French and European environmental law. She assists French and international clients on litigation (before administrative, civil, and criminal courts) and on advisory matters relating to Classified Installations for Environmental Protection (ICPE), contaminated sites and soils, and chemical substances, particularly under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and other European regulations. She is also particularly involved in issues relating to climate change, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and nonfinancial reporting.
Before joining Jones Day in 2024, Emma gained experience through internships at French law firms, an administrative court, and a real estate company.
