Trevor Deason represents clients in complex commercial litigation in federal and state courts. He has significant experience in the Texas Business Court, federal antitrust matters, and large-scale e-discovery, including data preservation, collection, review, and production.
Before entering private practice, Trevor clerked for Judge David S. Morales of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and Justice Paul W. Green of the Supreme Court of Texas. These clerkships shaped his approach to litigation strategy and give him a comprehensive perspective on disputes from pre-claim assessment through trial and appeal.
Trevor maintains an active pro bono practice. He represents clients in federal civil rights litigation under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and advocates for asylum seekers in U.S. immigration courts.
Beyond his practice, Trevor serves in leadership roles across the legal community. He is president-elect of the Houston Young Lawyers Association, board director and CLE Committee chair for the Federal Bar Association's Southern District of Texas Chapter, and board trustee of the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation, where he leads the Adopt-an-Angel program that serves more than 3,800 children in underserved communities. He also advises the Texas Bar Journal Board of Editors Committee of the State Bar of Texas, serves as editor for the Houston Bar Association's Antitrust Section, and sits on the Houston Urban Debate League Young Professionals Council.
