Deborah Tang's practice focuses on complex cross-border disputes and covers investigations, litigation, and arbitration.

Deborah advises multinational corporations and financial institutions on sensitive disputes, investigations, and crisis management situations across Asia and beyond. Her practice spans internal and external‑facing investigations, complex commercial and fraud litigation, and multijurisdictional issues. She also advises clients on compliance with government regulations and risk management.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Deborah was a magistrate and assistant registrar in the Supreme Court of Singapore where she heard cases in the High Court across a wide range of subjects, with a concentration in banking, finance, and construction disputes. Deborah also assisted in legal policy and reform initiatives, including projects in the Singapore International Commercial Court.

Deborah previously served as a law clerk for the chief justice and judges in the Supreme Court of Singapore and a deputy public prosecutor in the Attorney-General's Chambers.
