Vanessa Sounthakith conseille des entreprises françaises et internationales dans le cadre d’opérations transactionnelles (fusions-acquisitions, capital-investissement et immobilier), des particuliers et intervient également dans le cadre de procédures de contrôle et de contentieux fiscaux. Elle assiste plus particuièrement ses clients sur des opérations de capital-risque et sur des mécanismes d’intéressement des dirigeants et d’actionnariat salarié.

Avant de rejoindre Jones Day, Vanessa Sounthakith a exercé au sein d’une boutique fiscale patrimoniale dédiée à la clientèle privée. Elle a aussi travaillé au sein d’équipes fiscales de cabinets internationaux.

Vanessa Sounthakith enseigne la fiscalité des groupes à l'Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.
