Kirsty Rogerson provides advice across the full life cycle of complex developments in differing real asset classes. These include film studios, City of London offices, residential build-to-rent, student accommodations, life sciences, hotels, retail, logistics (including defense), and energy assets.

Kirsty has a particular focus on the intersection of digital infrastructure and energy transition. She advises clients on market leading data center developments (hyperscale and colocation). Kirsty seeks to simplify the jigsaw of permitting, grid connection/behind the meter solutions, title, and leasing — aiming to provide pragmatic solutions that balance investor/finance provider appetite for risk with the reality of the market terms being achieved for strong counterparties.

She works closely with ESG (environmental, social, and governance), regulatory, and planning specialists on a local and global level to assess how local requirements for a particular jurisdiction (such as biodiversity net gain, hourly renewables matching, and waste heat reuse) fit into cross-border structures and alternative nature capital options.

Kirsty also has considerable experience in lender and borrower side pan-European and Nordics financings that assists to keep the bankability of projects at the forefront of any transaction. Retaining the possibility of differing finance options, including Topco/NAV (top company/net asset value) and securitization process is a key area of focus.
