Shajia Orbig advises pharmaceutical and medical device companies as well as biotechnology companies in all phases of the product life cycle, from development to market launch and distribution. She advises clients on contractual issues related to the conclusion of collaboration, licensing, distribution, and other agreements in a variety of commercial transactions and assists clients in complying with the broad range of regulatory requirements, including pre-market authorizations to post-market matters related to advertising and marketing, compliance, and competition.

In addition, Shajia assists clients in domestic and cross-border M&A, private equity transactions, and venture capital financing rounds in the health care and life sciences sector and across technology-driven industries.

Prior to joining Jones Day in 2021, Shajia trained at international and national law firms, where she advised German and international corporate clients on intellectual property, technology, and data protection-related matters.

During her legal clerkship at the Superior Court of California in 2019, she gained experience in American criminal law and procedure during the presiding judge's prosecution of major felonies.
