Robert Hart represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters and counsels companies and individuals facing internal and governmental investigations.

Robert has served as the lead associate on numerous internal and governmental investigations, including those involving executive-level employee misconduct, fraud and bribery, and allegations relating to a hostile work environment. Robert's recent experience includes compliance and investigations work related to the detection of forced labor in corporate supply chains. Robert also works on matters involving police misconduct and reform, including work on behalf of the Chicago Police Board.

Robert also has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of civil lawsuits, including cases involving business- and employment-related torts, products liability, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Robert has extensive experience in briefing and motions practice in state and federal courts, discovery, and witness preparation.

Robert is highly active in the Firm's pro bono practice and recently worked with other members of the Firm's LGBTQ+ Affinity Group to write a brief on behalf of a trans woman seeking asylum in the United States.
