Jon Michael Hilsheimer focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He defends clients in cases against the federal government and in multidistrict litigation, including matters involving the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and False Claims Act (FCA).
Currently, he represents a national pharmacy in nationwide litigation relating to opioid dispensing practices. Jon Michael has also engaged in pro bono representation, including providing legal services to individuals seeking asylum and other immigration relief.
Prior to rejoining Jones Day in 2025, Jon Michael served as a law clerk to Judge Douglas R. Cole of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Before attending law school, Jon Michael worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company in Chicago.
