Jon George focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation.
Jon previously served as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. While clerking, he gained experience in a variety of civil and criminal matters, including those involving civil RICO, business contracts and torts, and employment discrimination and retaliation.
Jon maintains an active pro bono practice, which at Jones Day has included representing individuals seeking asylum in the United States. In law school, Jon worked as a student attorney in the Immigration and Refugee Clinic and in the LGBTQ+ Advocacy Clinic.
