Katie Eayre represents clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts. She has been part of teams defending a product manufacturer in public nuisance lawsuits initiated by local governments, defending a pharmaceutical company against antitrust claims, and representing a staffing company during a government investigation involving data privacy issues. In a contract dispute, Katie helped secure a favorable outcome for managed care organizations facing unfairly retroactive contract amendments. She has additional experience advising clients with respect to environmental, social, and corporate governance issues.

Katie maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing individuals in mediation of their civil rights claims.

Prior to joining Jones Day, Katie clerked at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. She was responsible for a variety of matters at the trial and appellate levels and handled cases involving class action, contract, consumer, toxic tort, insurance coverage, labor, employment, civil rights, and constitutional claims.
