Bri Durhal has represented Fortune 100 companies in high-stakes litigation from inception through appeal. She has represented a range of clients in major investigations, trials, and appeals throughout the country, including clients in the health care, consumer products, pharmaceutical, information technology, automotive, e-commerce, beverage, and entertainment industries.

Bri draws on her appellate experience to develop winning trial and appellate briefs, and she was recently involved in the briefing and oral argument preparation for a case that obtained an en banc Sixth Circuit vacatur of the certification of an 800,000-member class in a product defect case.

Bri brings extensive experience across all phases of litigation. At trial, she has managed critical tasks such as drafting motions in limine and expert motions, structuring complex jury instructions, developing verdict forms, and strategizing affirmative and counter deposition designations. She has also crafted direct and cross-examination outlines that successfully guide company witnesses through complex trial testimony. Her pretrial experience is equally broad, encompassing legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing offensive and defensive discovery, and preparing deposition outlines.

Prior to Jones Day in 2025, Bri clerked on the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the D.C. and Sixth Circuits.

Bri is active in the community, serving as a board member of the Appellate Project and as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She also maintains an active pro bono practice, including representing clients seeking asylum through the Firm's Border Project and representing victims of domestic violence.
