Raphaël Cano advises national and international companies as well as public authorities on strategic projects involving new technologies and digital infrastructure across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
His practice covers the full life cycle of these projects, from regulatory and contractual structuring to transactional work and dispute resolution. Raphaël has particular experience in the deployment of information technology and electronic communications infrastructure and in their integration within regulated sectors such as energy and natural resources. His practice also extends to issues arising from artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of intellectual property and data protection.
Raphaël draws on experience gained practicing at leading law firms that are dedicated in technology and intellectual property law. He also spent more than four years in the private sector in roles combining strategy, international business development, and legal affairs.
Raphaël is a member of the "Digital Justice" Committee at Paris Place de Droit, a think tank dedicated to promoting Paris as a leading legal hub. The committee brings together legal practitioners to assess the impact of new technologies on law and legal practice.
