Katie Costanza joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.

Prior to attending law school, Katie served in the White House as an executive assistant to a presidential advisor and the director of the Presidential Personnel Office. In addition, Katie spent five years dancing on Broadway for the Radio City Rockettes.

  • Invitation Homes acquires ResiBuiltJones Day advised Invitation Homes Inc. in the acquisition of ResiBuilt Homes, LLC, a leading build-to-rent (“BTR”) developer in high-growth markets across the Southeast.
  • Valmet acquires Severn GroupJones Day is advising Valmet Oyj in the $480 million acquisition of Severn Group, a well-established industrial valve company, from Bluewater, a UK-based private equity firm.
  • TriGate purchases NPLJones Day represented TriGate Capital, LLC in connection with the purchase of a non-performing loan secured by a retail center in Seattle, Washington, a deed-in-lieu for the same, and the financing of the retail center.
  • Cleveland-Cliffs completes $951 million public offering of Common SharesJones Day represented Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. in connection with an underwritten public offering of 75,000,000 of its Common Shares, resulting in net proceeds of $951 million.
