Armenian asylum-seeker wins Ninth Circuit reversal of Immigration Judge decision

Clients Client A

Client A sought asylum in the United States for persecutions suffered in her homeland of Armenia on account of her political views and activities. The Immigration Judge denied her petition on the grounds that her testimony was not credible. The Ninth Circuit, in reversing the decision, held that the record did not support the Immigration Judge's credibility finding.
