Jones Day served as chief negotiator for the Hunts Point New York Produce Trade Association in its contract renewal negotiations with Teamsters Local 202. Located in the Bronx, New York, Hunts Point Market is the largest wholesale produce market in the world. Local 202 represents approximately 1,200 warehousemen, truckmen and other Market employees. Employees ratified the new agreement on January 19, 2018, averting a threatened strike.
