Frontier Communications completes $1.5 billion bond offering

Jones Day advised Frontier Communications Corporation, one of the nation's largest independent providers of telecommunications services, in connection with its public offering of $775 million of 6.250% Senior Notes due 2021 and $775 million of 6.875% Senior Notes due 2025, underwritten by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc., and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC. The proceeds of the offering are expected to be used to pay a portion of the purchase price to acquire AT&T Inc.'s wireline operations in Connecticut.
