Chevron resolves trade secret lawsuit

Jones Day represented Chevron U.S.A. Inc. ("Chevron") in a trade secret misappropriation lawsuit against 4CRGroup LLC. Chevron and 4CRGroup LLC (founded by four Chevron retirees) agreed to resolve Chevron's ownership of certain patent applications, which 4CRGroup agreed to assign to Chevron. As part of the settlement, Chevron and 4CRGroup entered into a license agreement, and Chevron agreed to dismiss the lawsuit it filed against 4CRGroup.
