WHM LLC negotiates settlement in putative collection action alleging unpaid overtime

Client(s) WHM LLC (LXR Luxury Resorts)

Jones Day defended WHM LLC (LXR Luxury Resorts) and Boca Resorts, Inc. in a putative Fair Labor Standards Act ("FLSA") collective action in which resort staff plaintiffs alleged unpaid overtime at The Boca Raton Resort & Club. The parties negotiated a mutually agreeable settlement of the claims, including a release of all future federal or state wage related claims for those individuals who opted in to the settlement.
