Lennar reaches settlement in collective action filed under the FLSA

Client(s) Lennar Corporation

Jones Day represent Lennar Corporation in a collective action filed under the FLSA on behalf of Construction Managers in the Southern District of Florida. Plaintiff, a former Construction Manager, alleged he was misclassified as exempt and, thus, was owed payment for overtime allegedly worked during his employment. Lennar reached a settlement with Plaintiff and the case was dismissed prior to filing an Answer.
