Dana Corporation defends against infringement allegations by IPH

Client(s) Dana Corporation

Jones Day defended Dana Corporation in an IPH alleged patent infringement suit regarding certain Dana manufactured exhaust manifolds with a damped heat shield. Dana agreed to indemnify Wescast in connection with litigation. IPH claimed that its damages for such infringement were in excess of five million dollars. After significant discovery was taken, the case was settled on mutually agreeable terms.
