Jones Day partner Elizabeth Yaeger named a Rising Star in GlobeSt.'s Women of Influence Awards
Liz Yaeger, a partner in the Firm's Real Estate and Energy Transition & Infrastructure practices, was named a Rising Star by GlobeSt., as part of its Women of Influence Awards. The awards recognize women who drive the commercial real estate industry forward.
A real estate and digital infrastructure lawyer representing some of the biggest players in the data center space, Ms. Yaeger represents private equity firms, lenders, real estate funds, and data infrastructure owners/operators in domestic and international real estate and digital infrastructure transactions.
Career highlights include:
- Counseling a global data center developer/operator in leases and master service agreements for hundreds of megawatts of power in data centers throughout the United States;
- Refinancing the construction loan used to develop a complex in Manhattan comprising three separate condominium regimes with more than 1,200 residential units;
- Advising an affordable housing operator in the sale of its more than 2.3 million-square-foot portfolio consisting of 48 buildings with 1,904 affordable housing units in New York, and
- Representing the financial services unit of an American conglomerate with a multimillion dollar mortgage loan assumption relating to 21 golf properties across the country.
Ms. Yaeger has been involved in several non-profit organizations in the D.C. area, including Habitat for Humanity, the Coalition of Women's Initiatives in Law, DC SAFE, and the Young Lawyers Alliance for the Legal Counsel for the Elderly. She has played a key role in professional development for women in law, as well as supporting crisis intervention and legal services for vulnerable populations.
