Alexandra Ward is a commercial litigator. Her practice focuses on assisting Australian and international clients in prosecuting or defending disputes before Australian courts. She has experience in a wide range of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters, including shareholder disputes, class actions, insolvency matters, contractual disputes, intellectual property disputes, and misleading and deceptive conduct.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2025, Alexandra practiced as a solicitor in Adelaide, South Australia, where she gained valuable experience in numerous contested proceedings. Alexandra's experience spans multiple jurisdictions, including the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, and superior state courts. She also has experience in alternative dispute resolution processes and is passionate about helping clients achieve commercial and pragmatic resolutions to their disputes.
Alexandra also has a particular interest in advising clients on privacy and cybersecurity issues.
