Maguire Tausch joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2025. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Prior to law school, Maguire served as judicial secretary to Administrative and Presiding Judge Brendan J. Sheehan of the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court (2021-2022), where he helped launch one of the nation's first court-supervised violence intervention programs with Judge Sheehan and the U.S. Department of Justice to reduce gun violence in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
