Zoe Speas supports clients as they navigate U.S. state, federal, and international tax questions related to domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings. She contributes to tax planning and compliance matters and helps design tax-efficient frameworks for transactions that span multiple jurisdictions.

In her pro bono practice, Zoe assists nonprofit organizations in obtaining and preserving their tax-exempt status and advises on related federal tax questions. She is also deeply committed to supporting current and former service members through the Firm's Veterans Initiative.

Zoe is the author of "The Fiction of Equitable Distribution: Military Divorce, Disability, and the Dire Plight of the Former Spouse," 82 Wash. & Lee L.
