Tori Roberts joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2021. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Prior to attending law school, Tori was a litigation paralegal handling products liability, first- and third-party insurance, and construction defect claims.
During law school, Tori was provisionally admitted to the Central District of Illinois where she was appointed to represent an incarcerated individual in various civil rights claims against state actors. Tori conducted a three-day jury trial that resulted in a partial verdict against the warden of an Illinois correctional facility.
