Abdus-Samad Omarjee focuses his practice on international commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration, and arbitration-related proceedings before French courts.
Abdus-Samad has acted in arbitration proceedings conducted under the auspices of various arbitral institutions, including the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). His recent experience includes advising and representing companies and states in the energy, construction, telecommunications, and luxury sectors in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2023, Abdus-Samad undertook internships with leading international law firms in Paris and Mauritius (Africa).
