With more than 15 years of experience, Tanja Neumann practices in all areas of competition law with a focus on merger control aspects of different transactions, including mergers, joint ventures, and share and asset acquisitions (including minority acquisitions). She has worked across industries, including consumer goods, semiconductors, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, welding, and insulation material.

Tanja assists buyers, targets, and sellers in domestic and cross-border transactions, providing practical advice on merger control filings, and governmental investigations. She assists in the preparation of merger control filings to the German, Austrian, and EU competition authorities and coordinates filings around the globe. Recently, she worked on the team that represented Owens Corning in its acquisition of Paroc Group (EU filing M.8721) and on the team that represented Lincoln Electric in its acquisition of Air Liquide's welding business.

Tanja also practices in general commercial and corporate law. She joined Jones Day in 2001.
