Katie Menello focuses her practice on privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity, advising clients across the full range of issues in this space, from regulatory compliance and corporate transactions to cybersecurity incident response. She works with companies across industries to address the legal challenges that arise at the growing intersection of technology, data, and regulation.

Katie counsels clients on compliance with a broad array of state, federal, and international privacy laws, as well as emerging artificial intelligence (AI) laws, helping clients navigate an evolving global regulatory landscape. She also advises on privacy and cybersecurity issues arising in domestic and cross-border corporate transactions, identifying risks and structuring solutions during due diligence and deal execution. Katie also has experience assisting clients in navigating data breach investigations and response.

In addition, Katie maintains an active pro bono practice representing nonprofit organizations and working with the Firm's Border Project to assist individuals seeking asylum.
