Léopold Labenne Van Raes focuses his practice on white collar criminal defense. He assists French and international companies and individuals, as defendants or as victims, at all stages of criminal proceedings.
Léopold advises corporate clients on complex matters, including fraud, anti-bribery, corruption, money laundering, and market manipulation offenses, in criminal and in regulatory proceedings.
Léopold also has a keen interest in environmental criminal law as this area of law continues to evolve in France and in Europe.
Before joining Jones Day in 2025, Léopold worked at a leading French boutique criminal law firm and served as a parliamentary attaché at the French Senate, where he gained hands-on experience in crisis management and communication.
