Laura Kanouse focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation, with an emphasis on patent litigation. Her experience also includes trade secrets, breach of contract, and technology transactions. Laura has represented clients in federal district court and proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
Laura leverages her technical background to represent clients with matters involving various industries including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, software, and mechanical devices.
Laura maintains an active pro bono practice and is currently a member of a trial team representing clients seeking asylum in immigration proceedings as part of the Firm's Laredo Project. She also represents tenants in landlord-tenant disputes through Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
