Katherine Geithman represents and advises employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims, and wage and hour litigation. She also advises clients regarding compliance with employment laws. Katherine has experience with federal, state, and local labor and employment statutes, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
In addition, she advises clients regarding employment-related diligence on transactions, including counseling on restrictive covenants in employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, and employee handbooks and leave policies.
Katherine maintains an active pro bono practice and represents clients in family and immigration matters.
