Steve Bradley joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2022. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day.
Steve focuses his practice on intellectual property, with an emphasis on patent prosecution and litigation. Leveraging his technical background and institutional experience, Steve has prosecuted patents across a variety of technologies, including software, batteries, electrical circuits, and electronic design automation. Steve also has assisted clients in navigating various post-grant proceedings, providing advice on strategy and patent validity.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Steve worked as a patent examiner at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). As an examiner, Steve reviewed applications related to semiconductor technologies including integrated circuits, memory devices, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), and more. At the USPTO, Steve also served as an advisor for administrative patent judges of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) during ex parte appeal proceedings.
