Leemor Banai advises clients on international trade and national security matters, with a focus on export controls, economic sanctions, and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) compliance, as well as government contracts laws and regulations.
Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Leemor served as in-house counsel at a prime defense contractor, where she advised on government contracting requirements and export control compliance. She previously practiced as a corporate associate at an international law firm, counseling public and private companies on capital markets transactions and corporate governance matters.
