Shiseido builds patent portfolio around its Second Skin product

Jones Day is representing Shiseido Co Ltd in the development and prosecution of a portfolio patents relating to its "Second Skin" technology. Second Skin uses certain formulations to form a thin film on the skin via polymerization of vinyl-functionalized polymers and hydride-functionalized polymers, thereby improving skin appearance.
