French company in the food industry successfully implements compliance program in all subsidiaries

Jones Day assisted a French company operating in the food industry to complete the implementation of its compliance program in its five French subsidiaries. The compliance program included a code of ethics, a conflict of interest policy, an export control policy, and a whistleblowing policy covering the latest obligations imposed by the "SAPIN II" law. The implementation also required conducting a consultation process with the various employee representation bodies in the subsidiaries, as well as appropriate filings with the French data protection agency.
