Navistar successfully defends putative class actions related to diesel engines

Client(s) Navistar International Corporation

Jones Day defended Navistar International Corporation against putative class actions related to the 6.0L diesel engine supplied by Navistar to power Ford Motor Company's Super Duty pickup trucks for model years 2003-2007. After six months of active litigation, plaintiffs opted to voluntarily dismiss all claims against Navistar and pursue their claims solely against the other defendant. Navistar is a manufacturer and marketer of medium and heavy trucks and mid-range diesel engines.
