Baxter International defends against multidistrict antitrust class actions involving plasma derived biological products

Jones Day defended Baxter International Inc. in several antitrust class action lawsuits brought by a group of hospitals alleging that Baxter and other producers conspired to limit production and fix prices of certain plasma protein products sold in the United States. After five years of litigation, the parties' settlement agreement was approved by the court on April 16, 2014.
