Anoop Sadanandan represents clients in federal and New York state courts and in administrative proceedings. His litigation practice focuses on complex civil disputes such as class action, bankruptcy, and securities litigation.
Anoop is a member of the Firm's ESG (environmental, social, and governance) and digital assets ecosystem research groups, and he has counseled clients about the litigation and regulatory risks in ESG and block chain/digital assets matters.
Anoop is committed to pro bono service. He represents asylum seekers who flee political persecution and violations of individual liberties in their home countries and individuals whose constitutional rights have been violated.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Anoop was a political economist and university professor researching, teaching, and writing on issues in international development.
