Blanca Puyol Martínez-Ferrando

Blanca Puyol has more than 20 years of experience advising domestic and multinational companies, investors, financial institutions, and private equity and venture capital funds on domestic and cross-border transactions, including buyouts, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and M&A deals. She also counsels emerging companies, managers, and investors on shareholders' agreements, carve-outs, and corporate governance matters, including directors' and officers' duties and liabilities, and serves as secretary to the board of directors for many Firm clients.

Blanca regularly advises international clients on investments and acquisitions in Spain, coordinating corporate, regulatory, tax, financing, and transactional workstreams across public and private transactions, with a strong emphasis on seamless cross-border execution. She also advises on private equity, growth capital, and venture capital investments, connecting the Spanish market with the Firm's international clients and global teams, and counsels boards and senior management on fiduciary duties and shareholder engagement.

She represents clients across a broad range of industries, with particular experience in energy, technology, telecommunications, digital infrastructure, real estate, and financial services.

Recent experience includes advising Orange SA on its €18.6 billion merger with MásMóvil, the subsequent acquisition of the remaining 50% stake in MasOrange, and a joint venture with Vodafone to share fiber infrastructure in Spain. She also has advised Greystar on real estate investments in Spain, Deutsche Balaton and Bridgepoint on the sale of Web Financial Group to Allfunds, Partners Group on its divestment of Softonic International, and Euroclear on its acquisition of Inversis.

Blanca was recognized by TTR as "Best Woman Legal Dealmaker — M&A Spain" in 2022. She also serves as chair of inclusion & advancement and business development partner in the Madrid Office.
