Joe Hsieh focuses his practice on cross-border dispute resolution, regulatory compliance, and energy and infrastructure matters.
Joe regularly advises multinational corporations, financial institutions, and domestic enterprises on complex commercial disputes, regulatory matters, and risk management issues in Taiwan. His dispute resolution experience spans a broad range of industries and legal areas, including financial services, international trade, intellectual property, insurance, and general commercial disputes. He has represented international financial institutions, global e-commerce platforms, U.S. exporters, and Taiwanese enterprises in civil, criminal, and administrative proceedings, as well as cross-border disputes and investigations.
In addition to his dispute resolution practice, Joe advises multinational companies on regulatory and compliance matters arising from their operations in Taiwan. His experience includes data privacy and cross-border data transfers, labor and employment, financial regulations, virtual assets and fintech, life sciences and pharmaceutical regulations, and competition law. He also has advised clients on offshore wind projects, energy-related administrative disputes, M&A due diligence, and power generation and other infrastructure-related matters.
