Alex Exact is an intellectual property litigator with experience spanning a broad range of technologies and industries.

Alex's recent High Court experience includes representing: a global semiconductor manufacturer in proceedings for patent infringement; a leading aerospace company in an account of profits; a video game developer in copyright litigation; a software developer in proceedings alleging the misappropriation and copying of source code; and a technology client in patent infringement proceedings in the field of wireless communications.

Alex also has experience litigating before the United Kingdom's Intellectual Property Office Tribunal and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC). He frequently advises on investigations as well as on disputes that involve allegations of conspiracy, bad faith, and passing off. Alex has acted in various appeals before the Court of Appeal covering subjects such as the scope of the United Kingdom's unjustified threats regime and the contractual interpretation of licensing and other agreements.
