David Benham joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2024. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Individuals in the NLG may focus on a particular area of practice, or compare practices, during their first year with Jones Day. David will be concentrating on employee benefits and compensation, restructuring, corporate transactions, and financial markets.

Prior to attending law school, David worked for three years at an investment banking firm as a financial analyst focusing on debt markets and products. He also has experience with client growth and acquisition, including working with clients on high-value deals and trades.
