Will Taylor is a trial lawyer focused on complex commercial litigation, with a particular concentration on representing clients in the energy industry. He has substantial experience handling a wide variety of commercial disputes, including construction issues, class actions, business torts, trade secrets, contracts, state and federal environmental issues, and post-closing litigation.
Will was recently seconded to a major refining and petrochemical company, where he managed a wide variety of litigation matters for the company. He has experience in all sectors of the oil and gas industry, including upstream (onshore and offshore), midstream, downstream (refining and petrochemicals), and oil and gas trading operations.
Will also has trial experience in a number of other industries, including health care and credit reporting. He has served as the lead attorney in individual and class action cases brought under the Fair Credit Reporting Act in state and federal courts throughout the United States.
Will is actively involved in pro bono matters, including volunteering as a prosecutor for the City of Houston, where he successfully tried more than a dozen cases to juries. He is a co-chair of the American Bar Association's Environmental & Energy Litigation Committee. He is also an Eagle Scout and current leader in the Boy Scouts of America.
