David Sandefer represents and counsels clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, arbitrations, and appellate proceedings.
David has diverse litigation experience representing corporate clients in a broad range of matters, including cases involving antitrust claims, contract disputes, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). David has extensive experience in briefing and motions practice in state and federal courts, discovery, and working with fact and expert witnesses. David's recent work includes representing a national pharmacy in nationwide litigation relating to opioid dispensing and distribution practices.
David also maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented individuals seeking asylum in U.S. immigration courts.
Before joining Jones Day, David served as a law clerk on the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Northern District of Alabama, where he gained significant legal research and writing experience.
