Sophie Quinlan is an energy transactions and regulatory lawyer.
Sophie advises sponsors, investors, project developers, financial institutions, and regulators in the energy and infrastructure sector. Sophie's practice includes M&A, equity investment, joint ventures, and energy regulatory matters. Sophie has advised on a wide range of transactions across wind, solar, waste-to-energy, gas storage, and liquefied natural gas (LNG). Prior to joining Jones Day in 2026, Sophie was a solicitor in the energy, infrastructure, and natural resources team at Ireland's leading corporate law firm, where she gained experience in M&A, project finance, project development, and energy regulatory matters.
