Giulio Politi

Giulio Politi's practice is focused on cross-border transactions. He advises multinational and domestic corporations and financial sponsors on private equity and strategic M&A, joint ventures, and corporate reorganization matters. Giulio has significant experience in several sectors, including infrastructure and transport, aerospace and defense, health care, manufacturing, consumer, retail, and food and beverage.

Before joining Jones Day in 2026, Giulio practiced at another leading international law firm, where his work included advising on: the Italian aspects of the global carve-out and spin-off of the health care business of a multinational manufacturer of consumer and industrial goods; joint venture arrangements among three global aerospace and defense companies to create a pan-European aerospace leader; a tender offer launched for a leading Italian bank, acting for the bank; and the sale of the global defense business of a multinational automotive company.
