Zachary J. Cossum (Zac)

Zac Cossum represents clients in complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, project development, strategic transactions, and commercial agreements, primarily in the energy industry.

Zac's M&A experience includes public and private M&A, joint venture, and project development transactions across the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas sectors. In addition to advising on M&A and joint venture transactions, Zac regularly counsels clients on a wide range of commercial agreements across the energy industry, including dedication agreements, throughput and transportation agreements, and development and construction contracts. Zac also has extensive experience advising clients on liquefied natural gas (LNG) project development and commercialization, including strategic investments in LNG projects, joint venture and project ownership structures, and the negotiation of long-term LNG offtake arrangements. His LNG experience encompasses a broad range of commercial and project agreements, including LNG sale and purchase agreements, liquefaction and tolling agreements, gas supply arrangements, construction and development agreements, and operation and maintenance agreements.
