Justin E. White

Justin White is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience leading all aspects of high-stakes, complex commercial disputes from inception through trial. Justin understands the strategic considerations facing companies involved in complex disputes, and he regularly leads significant matters involving millions of documents, large numbers of fact witnesses, numerous expert witness teams, and complex third-party discovery. Justin also has extensive experience in written advocacy for complex commercial disputes, including successfully briefing numerous dispositive motions, evidentiary motions, discovery disputes, and appellate motions across a broad range of commercial cases for major corporate clients. Justin further remains on the forefront of emerging litigation technologies, including advising companies on development, implementation, and best practices for employing AI-enabled workflows to effectively manage large-scale litigation and discovery.

Justin's broad experience enables him to litigate a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract actions, trade secrets, antitrust, products liability, intellectual property, trademarks, and oil and gas. Justin has litigated many prominent trade secret disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants under the Defend Trade Secrets Act and state law equivalents across multiple jurisdictions and industries, including petrochemical storage products, business software, aerospace, and gaming. Justin's experience includes substantial stand-up advocacy, including directing and cross-examining key witnesses, arguing motions, preparing experts, and taking and defending depositions.

Justin is committed to the Houston community and the Firm. After graduating valedictorian of his law school class, he led the Houston Office's summer associate committee, participated in the Pathways to Law pro bono program, and led litigation training initiatives.
