Eric Wang advises clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters. He works with private equity funds, multinational corporations, and institutional investors on acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and restructurings across a wide range of industries, including automotive, technology, logistics, life sciences, hospitality, entertainment, and infrastructure.

Eric has experience advising on complex, multijurisdictional transactions involving the Greater China region and global markets. Eric has handled matters such as strategic investments in technology and life sciences businesses by international investors, the establishment of joint ventures between Chinese and overseas companies in the medical device manufacturing sector, and acquisitions involving hotel chains and digital platforms. He regularly assists clients with transactional structuring, foreign investment reviews, and post-completion management.

Eric also has experience in dispute resolution and antitrust investigations, which provides him with additional insight into managing legal and regulatory risks in corporate transactions.

Before joining Jones Day in 2025, Eric practiced with a leading Red Circle law firm in Hong Kong. Earlier in his career, he worked with international organizations, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the US-China Business Council (USCBC).
